Smells great and soothes your feet! September 5, 2010
Beckwann La (Bay Area, Sunny Cali)
Not only does this have a great clean fresh scent, it calms and relaxes you. The jar lasts a while since you don't need to use much at all (about 1-2 tsp should do it for a gallon of water). My feet thanks me for using this!

I'm also a man, and I'm not ashamed to use this product myself. I've got the driest, most cracked-up heels and forefeet I've ever seen, and they require a lot of care just so I can walk around without bleeding on my socks.
I use (and recommend) FLEXITOL heel balm, whose active ingredient is synthesized urea--yep, the guys know that peeing on your feet in the shower kills athlete's foot. But it's gross. Flexitol gives you the active ingredient without any of the ick factor, and your feet will immediately feel better.
But it's not enough. I have to just about use a belt sander on these heels if I let them go for more than a week. I can cut down the effort required to care for them by sitting down in front of the tv with my feet soaking in a hot spa with these soaking salts added. If I can leave my feet in there until they're nice and waterlogged, I can give them a good rubbing/scratching and most of the worst dead skin just sloughs off. Much better than a plain water soak.
Then I let my feet dry completely, and sand what's left with a fine grit emery sander "heel board." Then hit it with the Flexitol and I'm good for a week or so with only the ointment in the mornings.
If you've been struggling with heavily cracked feet, you might want to consider a foot soaker as part of your maintenance. It will help you.
Fragrant Effective Foot Soak Crystals... April 20, 2010

I was turned on to this product from a friend that is into making a lot of home made health and cosmetic items like soaps, shampoo, and even deodorants. She is well familiar with the key ingredient in these crystals, tee tree oil. In case you have never heard of it, tea tree oil is an all natural hydrophobic extract that possesses powerful medicinal value as an antiseptic, anti-fungal, and antibacterial agent. Its scent is one of the freshest and most pleasantly aromatic that one could ever encounter. Its no mystery as to the use of it as the key ingredient in this foot soap accomplishing much in the way of making sore feet feel comfortably soft, soothed, and exceptionally fresh.
I do a lot of walking for exercise, and as a result of the load I put on my feet almost daily, I sometimes end up at night nursing some pretty sore tootsies. For years I used the old stand by of Johnson's Foot Soap that has always done a pretty good job of soothing aching feet. But it wasn't until I was introduced to this tee tree oil mixture that I really understood what pampering oneself really is all about. A dose of these crystals dissolved into either a formal foot bath machine, or just a hot pot of water, instantly releases the sweet, wonderful camphor like scent of the tee tree oil, making it most inviting for your sore feet. For me, a little of these crystals goes a long way, and it doesn't take the full dose to receive the effect of what this stuff promises. The tee tree oil treats both any soreness and inflammation in your feet very effectively, while at the same time its antibacterial properties allow your feet to come out smelling downright sweet. (My friend uses pure tea tree oil extract as an ingredient in her home made deodorant). I am still quite amazed at how effective it is at getting so much of the soreness out. Personally I would never consider using anything else. Even my friend doesn't bother to mix her own concoction since she feels this does an excellent job with little else that she could manage that would come out as much of an improvement on it. And at a very reasonable price. I ended up buying mine at one of those all natural earth style stores at a local mall for a little more than Amazon is asking for it. But I will be ordering it from here as soon as I have used up what I have.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this fine tee tree oil soak for the care and feeding of your overworked feet. Order enough of it all at once and the shipping charge changes very little, and thus becomes a downright convenience and bargain bought right here. (Besides, around here, it's very hard to find. I have never seen it anywhere but this one place I picked it up). Personally I think you will become addicted to these crystals to a point where you may find yourself pampering yourself often even if your feet feel fine. Trust me when I tell you that they, and you, will feel they never had it so good...

I love this product for the smell and how clean my feet feel afterwards. I use this everytime I give myself a pedicure at home. It is a great way to relax after a hard days work.

I bought this for my wife based on the positive reviews, and it is a very good product. The smell is very nice and my wife really enjoys using it. My only complaint is that shipping costs almost as much as the product. Still, I'm guessing that when all of the salts are used up we'll be ordering more.
